Well, we found out what they were! We had assumed they were a Type 4 variation but we were wrong (hence this pages movement into the Type 3 section). Thanks to Roar Knudsen from Norway, we now know the above pictured car is a VW Brasilia. It was manufactured from 1973-1982 and is more Type 3 than Type 4. Roar sent us some great pics and hopefully we'll get more. Check out the cutaway of this neat car! (FYI - The link listed on the pic doesn't seem to work.)
