notes: These
were a mid-year change so please check your original part to
make sure you are ordering the correct replacement. The easiest
thing to look for is the 3 bolt base as the later Super Beetle
ball joint does not share this feature. Also, as this has been
asked before, Super Beetles do not have an upper ball joint like
standard Beetles. If you see an upper ball joint, you either
don't have a Super Beetle or you are mistaking something else for
a ball joint.
