Definitely one of those
little parts that no one seems to know about. Starting in 1971
Bosch introduced this little cover to fit over the points inside
the distributor to help keep dust out that might make it's way
in between the cap and the distributor housing. This cover also
fits into 009, 094, and 050 aftermarket distributors. Though
originally these weren't included until 1971, they will fit any
earlier distributor if equipped with the tall 03010 cap. |
