Sometimes when an
alternator is fitted, you may need to switch to a different fuel
pump (113127025G), fuel pump pushrod
(113127307A), and fan belt (113x912).
While we have seen some still able to use the Generator-style
fuel pump, etc, with an alternator, there is usually not enough
clearance to stay with this setup. If you are planning on just
upgrading your 12v Generator with a 12v Alternator, you will not
need this engine tin in this kit, however you will still need to
purchase a new stand, strap, alternator pulley, and fan belt as these are different for
Alternators.
