notes: This fuel pump can fit
the 40hp applications, but does not have a threaded inlet - you
will have to adapt your fitting with fuel line.
Be sure when tightening the fuel pump down onto the engine too
not over-tighten as you can easily crack the fuel pump flange.
There was a known problem with these fuel pumps where the
pressed-in pin that holds the pump tongue could work it's way out.
Brosol is now peening this pin into place, however we still
recommend that before initial installation both
sides of the pin are secured with some JB Weld.
