These are an excellent
reproduction of the original that in many ways is actually
better than the original. Due to inconsistency with the German
production of this part a new show-quality reproduction was
created which is an exacting copy of the original VW part. With
a NOS sample to work from, new roll form and stamping tooling
was made from CAD files scanned from the sample for the anodized
aluminum molding. The seals are injected EPDM rubber and then
riveted to the E-coated inner metal bracket.
